One of the ways I successfully position my alerts on swing trades is to look for multiple catalysts with a chart that gives a clear exit in case those catalysts don’t come into play short term.
Friday I alerted Quepasa Corp. (AMEX:QPSA) and my subscribers and I are up big today. Before I go into detail about Quepasa, here are a few other short squeezes I sniffed out in October.
10/10/11 to 10/14/11 Local.com (NASDAQ:LOCM) from $2.25 to $2.94 for about 30% from my short squeeze alert. I made over $2,220 on a small position.
Which leads me to today! Friday 10/21/11 I alerted a buy of Quepasa Corp. (AMEX:QPSA) just above recent support at $2.75 after I bought 3,000 shares at $2.95.
Today as you can see, QPSA has already run about 30% since the alert leaving me up about $2,100 as I write. Normally I’d lock in this 1 day profit of $2,100 but I’m going to let this trade alert ride because of the extremely high short interest as well as the possibility of big news with myYearbook soon.
The good news is, many of my subscribers have already locked in a big win on QPSA, just look what one subscriber already wrote on Friday’s alert at $2.95…
Jason you rock buddy, just took my largest gain ever on QPSA, I know it will still go up for you guys, but couldn’t pass up the profits. Thanks again! ~ Dan
So Dan has already paid himself, something I teach all my subscribers to do regularly once making 10% on a swing trade.
For me on the other hand, it’ll need to read like this for now as I continue to watch for that news…
10/21/11 to ? Quepasa Corp. (AMEX:QPSA) from $2.95 to ? for about ? from my short squeeze alert. I made over $? on a small position.
Time will tell if my bet will score big, but one thing is for certain, my QPSA swing trade alert has already paid big for my subscribers.
The simple 3,000 share buy at $2.95 Friday is already worth over $2,100 in profits 1 trading day later. How’s that for service?
Disclosure: I am long 3,000 QPSA at $2.95
