Hi everyone! Kyle Dennis here with you for a special portfolio update and summary.
For those of you that have been in the chat room, you know that I have been alerting my trades over the last two weeks.
I wanted to give some commentary on a few trades we closed out for gains and commentary on a company I hold.
First off, let’s talk about the gains.
Aralez Pharmaceuticals (ARLZ)
We had ARLZ on the watch list in the mid $3 range and yesterday it hit a high of $5.25 for about a 75% gain if timed perfectly! I personally played this one with some options and made $3,336. The last 20 options I owned I sold yesterday for over 100% gain.
Genocea Pharmaceuticals (GNCA)
GNCA one was a really quick trader for us. I bought 5,000 shares at $5.04 and sold them at $5.50 this afternoon for a gain of $2,275. This one is looking excellent for a move higher going into its September catalyst, but with the market looking weak, I’m thinking it pulls back for a day or two before continuing higher. Energous Corp (WATT)
This one wasn’t a biotech, but WATT was another low risk-high reward trade that worked for us really quickly. I went long 20 of the WATT September $12.50 options for $1.49. I sold 10 of those options on Monday for a 35% gain in 2 trading days. I then sold the other half at $3.38 for a 125% gain in 3 trading sessions. In a few days I made $2,401 with a position size of less than $3,000.
Tonix Pharmaceuticals (TNXP)
I am currently long TNXP with 5,000 shares at $2.29. They have an important data release coming in September and the insiders have been buying alot of shares. I am looking to double my position to 10,000 shares if it dips into the .30’s again. I think this one can move into the $3’s as we get closer to September.
